Curriculum Overview

 

The Typical Business Major

For a Business Major, the Framingham MBA typically comprises a 12 course Core and Elective sequence over two years in six semesters, Fall, Spring and Summer.

Other Undergraduate Majors

Students without a business degree may be required to take up to six foundation courses which can be completed in one year taking courses during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

These six courses equip students with the essentials of economics, accounting, marketing and management theory, providing a firm foundation on which to build the core MBA curriculum.

Students then proceed to the 12 course Core and Elective sequence over two years in six semesters, Fall, Spring and Summer.

 

Number of Credits

All Framingham State College courses are four credits.

The Core and Elective portions of the degree comprise 48 credits.

The Foundations comprise up to 24 credits.
